Say hello to Summer - a relaxed and comfortable tee by Ankestrick that exudes easy, minimalist style. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the neck is shaped with short rows and the dropped saddle shoulders are created with increases along the shoulder markers. The front and back are then knit separately for the length of the armhole and then joined to work in the round down to the bottom ribbing. Neckline and sleeve ribbing are worked last. 

We've paired Summer with Fleece & Flax, our lovely fingering-weight blend of 75% Bluefaced Leicester wool and 25% linen. This yarn offers a unique balance of structure and drape, with linen’s signature crispness complementing the softness and bounce of BFL. Linen is naturally strong, durable, and resistant to pilling, with a beautiful luster and lightly textured character that adds depth to your stitches. It also boasts exceptional thermo-regulating properties, keeping you cool in the heat and cozy when temperatures drop. While the higher linen content may lead to some initial shedding as you knit, the transformation after blocking is remarkable—the fabric softens, relaxes, and gains an elegant, lived-in feel that improves with every wash and wear.
